Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your case history of itching on scalp and knees, my treatment advice is:

1. Maintain good hygiene and take bath twice daily.
2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesions twice daily.
3. Take an antihistamine medicines like levocetrizine twice daily for 7 to 10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid to be taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
