What Causes Knots In Stomach With Constipation?

I have not been able to sleep for the last past 3 days. I have a knot in my stomach, when I drink water it sits there and hurts. I take 3 water pills each and every day, but the pain is still there. I ate beans for 3 days, Friday, Saturday, Monday, could I be constipated and that is what the knot is? I am a 61 year old woman with congestive heart failure. Help.
