What Causes Leakage On Pads In A Suprapubic Catheter Patient?
Hi doctors, I am a care aide, my problem is one of my patient have suprapubic catheters for 2 years, and it s my first time to see her leaking on the pads in the morning, it s been a week now, I ask my nurse to looked into it but he said it s ok, the output is normal, 0 color of the urine, 0 pain. But why my patient is leaking. .?

In female patients, one needs to rule out vesicovaginal and or ureterovaginal fistula.
Please seek support from urosurgeon to rule out any such kind of pathology.
3 swab test with methylene blue dye and cystoscopy will be of help.
