What Causes Lower Back Pain And Nausea After Treatment For Food Poisoning?

I had a bout of food poisoning that took me to the er. i had a lap nissin which made it imposssible to vomit. I was pretty bad off in the er lost all bowel control. when the dr pushed in on my abdomen a lot of puss just ozzed out. this went on for several hours . I was given anti nausea med to the max allowed but my body still tried to wretch. Finally was given a dose of a narcotic to try and constipate me a bit to stop the ozzing of pus from my bowels. Got the usuall top notch care . here is the issue .I have been home 3 days now and have a bunch of pain in my lower back (kidney area) and a pain on my right side closer to the hips then the ribs . my bowel movements are very pale but firm. I am still feeling a bit nauses and am though at moments I feel like I am getting better, after a few hours I am ready to climb back into bed for sleep. Is this normal or should i get back into the doctors?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this was the food poisoning and treated well with no bad event then it is nothing to worry but as long as the pus is concern the underlying cause of this need to be found out because food poisoning may not cause the pus formation in gut and if it is so then it is the surgical case great matter of concern, looking to the whole GI track, hope this information helps.
