What Causes Neck Pain And Stiffening With Vomiting Sensation?
I am 40 years old.Ioften get bouts of neck pain accompanied with severe headache. My shoulders and back of the neck are stiffened and i feel uneasy all the day, sometimes vomit sensation also.I am suffering all this for last 3-4 days and i am taking painkillers but to no relief. Please suggest remedy.
Your symptoms are suggestive of cervicogenic headache and vertigo. This is caused by chronic degeneration of the cervical vertebral column or a wrong posture. For this reason, I recommend trying to correct your posture and performing regular physical activity. In the meantime, I recommend performing a cervical spine MRI and taking flunarizine for the headaches coupled with dimenhydrinate.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
