What Causes Numbness In Hands And Twitching Over Body After Consuming Alcohol?

I am a 21 year old college student who socially drinks and occasionally has a night of heavy drinking. After these nights I wake up with skin twitches all over my body which vary in extremity. With this I usually experience a strange kind of painful sensation in different parts of my body (most often the hands and feet). It feels kind of like numbness but it is painful at the same time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
