General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Most probably it is due to minor nerve contusion this can happen after blunt injury. Consult a physician and plan for an MRI scan. As of now you can take Vitamin B12 supplements for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
