What Causes Pain In Collarbone?

What does pain at my collarbone mean? It s very tender to the touch - almost like a bruise. It hurts more when my arm is raised above my head and I lean my head back. There is also tingling ( in my right hand. I am 45 year old female in excellent health. Thanks.

Hi,

This mostly is a spasm in your sternocleidomastoid muscle or your scalene muscle, sometimes called thoracic outlet syndrome, try doing stretching for your anterior chest wall muscles, and stretch your scm and scalene by doing same side rotation plus opposite side, side bending as if you are looking up for 30 seconds and repeat 5 times...
combine this with breathing exercise.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
