What Causes Pain In Foot And Numbness In Toes?

I am having pain on the outside edge and on the bottom of my right foot under the outside edge. It has been getting worse over the last week. My toes are cold and numb but there is no swelling or bruising. I do not remember actually injuring the foot although it is possible since i went long boarding last monday. the pain started out pretty light but has gotten way worse and even hurts when i am resting. It is very localized as well. I have an appointment on thursday but what can i do for it until then??
