Hi, I stepped on a dog toy at home last night, lost my balance and fell last night at home. ever since Then, I have been experiencing a lot of pain in my shoulder and numbness in my forearm and hand (feels like it is on it s way to falling asleep) and limited motion in my arm when moving my arm. The pain is constant and has been intense at times, especially if I do a movement within my restricted range of motion. I have iced several times and taken ibprophen. I m wondering if I should go to the emergency room to start the process of diagnosing and treatment plan. Of course the pain is uncomfortable but The numbness I m feeling is also worrying for me. since it is a holiday weekend, it will be 2 days before I could get into my primary dr. Thank you in advance for any feedback you can give.
