What Causes Pain In Sternum,lower Back And Chest Area?

hi i took my father to er as he had severe chest pain as he describes on the sturnam bone and low back pain, had xrays and a scan of the region which came up with nothing,blood test was nad and urine test showed severe kidney infection. he was given strong antibiotics which he has been taking for 3 1/2 days and he is still in terrible pain in the stunam region and lower back.the chest pain is persistant and does'nt change by eating or anything else. I was wondering if it could be a hiatus hernia....any advice please. thanx

thank you for trusting HCM dear severe pyelonephritis,or kidney stones may cause pain in lower back and sternal /chest pain due to rule out is it cardiac or non cardiac or any other causes for it?? collor bone trauma,pleuracy may present like this.

please post scan report for kidneys.please consult your nephrologist/cardiologist,he will examine and treat you accordingly.drink plenty of water,drink juices etc .. I think I answered to your question if you have more questions feel free to ask.
