What Causes Pain Under The Left Shoulder Blade And Under The Armpit?

I had breast cancer about 10 yrs ago, and had chemo and radiation on left side, for 4 days now I have had a pain under my left shoulder blade, that goes around under my armpt and under my left breast, It really hurts so much I can barely get comfortable, I have had cracked ribs from cough and this feels alot like thta, but I was wondering if there is anything I shoould be concerned aboy I do also have a leaky heart valve. Hello,

Cosidering your past medical history, it is necessary consulting with your attending physician and performing some tests:

- complete blood count, PCR, ESR
- Ca15.3
- A chest Xray study
- a shoulder X ray study.

Performing a shoulder MRI may be needed.

Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka
