What Causes Painful Urination Burning, Erection Pain And Swelling?

hi my husband has been having problems thought he was passing kidney stones burned when he urinated and very painful when he had an erection and hurt to touch underneath he thinks he may have hurt himself masterbateing but doctor said it was impossible now he is very swollen he has had mri and they did the dye test on him and still no answers they put him on antibiotics and pain meds. any clue?

Hello,

There can be possible damage to the prostatic urethra during the passage of stone which may be responsible for the burning urination, erectile pain and swelling.

There should be definite management with intravenous antibiotics anti-inflammatory medicines and catheter care if severe retention, one may have to opt for suprapubic catheter approach as well.

Still, if the MRI plates are provided to me, I can definitely guide further in the best possible manner.
