What Causes Persistent And Recurrent Abdomen Pain, IBS When Diagnosed With Colonoscopy?

I do have a twisted bowel and also before this a lot of constipation was diagnosed afte colonoscopy do strain a lot when trying to have bowel movement as have trouble going, no sign of hard stool, always quite soft. This has left me with continual pain in lower abdomen comes and goes, very uncomfortable not sure what the cause, also was diagnosed with ulcer and take rabelrazole 1 a day before dinner. If you are able to help would appreciate it. Wondered if a hernia because of straining.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of twisted bowel, lot of constipation and had to strain a lot.
After colonoscopy this has inproved and now not much of hard stools, soft ones, but a continual pain in the left lower abdomen making you uncomfortable.
Was diagnosed with ulcer and taking Rabeprazole, Wants help and wondering whether there is a hernia.
I would suggest you the following with reasoning:
This looks to be Irritable bowel syndrome and must be addressed with the following issues:
Get all other tests like that of stool, blood and urine, ultrasonography and if all the tests are negative get treated on the lines of IBS.
The control of the stress and anxiety should be the mainstay in such cases.
