What Causes Persistent Cough Only During Night In A 1 Month Old?

Hi,my son is 37 days old, and he sleeps nicely on the day time but he cough at night, I took him to the Dr off but his Dr told me not to worry about anything, he checked everything, his ears, chest, and so on, he couldn't find anything but he still coughs, should I be worried and take him ER ? please help

Hello. Thank you for your question. It's important to make sure that your son is feeding well and gaining appropriate weight. As long as that is happening, and he is comfortable and without fever, and your doctor says his exam is normal, there is no need to be concerned. If any of those thin gs are to change, I recommend consulting with your doctor.
