What Causes Persistent High Fever With Sneezing And Diarrhea?

My four year old has had a high fever for 4 days (103). It goes away with tylenol but comes back after about four hours. He is very sleepy. After day 3 he started with sneezing and watery eyes. On day four he got severe diarrea. Is this just a common cold or something more?

Hi... Nothing to worry. This just looks like a viral illness.

Usually rather than fever, what is more important is the activity of the child, in between 2 fever episodes on the same day. If the kid is active and playing around when there is no fever, it is probably viral illness.
