What Causes Persistent Stomach Pains?

i have a really bad pain in my stomach which has been going on for nearly two years now. it all sorted after i gave birth to my daughter in 2012. i also have constant diarrhea which is really dark in colour (almost jet black) i have been to my local gp which they stated that is ibs which they have gave me tablets for which did not work. i went back and they gave me another set of tablets and again no change. i kept a food dairy on what i eat and help from others people pointed out it maybe milk casing this problem which i cut out of my diet. no change again. i have had blood test s done and all came back as positive. please help as its been going on for some time and i am in some awful pain.

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history pain in abdomen for the last 2 years, jet black diarrhea, not responding to the medicines your Doctor gave.
My thoughts:
Jet black diarrhea means there is malena.
I would advise you the following:
Tests of stool for 3 consecutive days.
Colonoscopy and upper GI Endoscopy.
If these are normal then a capsule endoscopy top see for the source of the bleeding in the GI tract that is causing you jet black stools.
Once the cause is found go for the proper treatment, medical or surgical as may be needed.
