What Causes Rashes After Sex?

Hi Dr Grief, I have recently been experiencing a rash after having sex with my girlfriend. I initially went in to get an STD at my school s hall health, and they diagnosed it as scabbies. I underwent treatment 2 months ago and the rash continues to appear after sex. My girlfriend has no symptoms what so ever.

Thank you for query.If diagnosis is sure of scabies.then treat all members in your family including your partner simultaneously with overnight below neck full body application of permethrin 5% lotion.Reapply it next week again to all.Wash all blankets and clothes with warm water and dry it under sun.Antihistamines like cetrizine an be taken if itching.Do not apply daily as it can cause irritatant contact dermatitis.You can get back to me for any clarifications with the photos.Dr Bharatesh D Basti Dermatologist.
