What Causes Rashes And Peeling Of Skin Between Legs?

I've had a rash and peeling skin between my legs against my testicles, for about 5 days now. There are also little red bumps on my leg. At first I was thinking heat rash, but I'm getting this god awful smell coming from it now. It stings a little, and is uncomfortable, but no real pain. Any ideas?

Hello,

Perhaps you have either intertrigo or a fungal infection- due to heat, humidity and warmth of body folds which trigger inflammation of body folds as they rub against each other while walking and also encourage the fungus to proliferate which causes redness, scaling and itching. I suggest you to use a topical anti-fungal e.g either Clotrimazole 1% cream or Ketoconazole 2% cream. In addition to that you may also use a topical anti-fungal powder e.g. Clotrimazole dusting powder to keep the folds dry.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
