What Causes Rashes On Chest And Stomach?

a couple weeks ago I formed a rash on both sides of my chest, running from my arm pit to my stomach and the sides of my breast.it did not burn, itch or anything.my friend had some rash cream she got from a doctor and I usd that and in a few days it was gone.within days it came back.when it came back it looked more like I had been burned with hot boiling water.i used the cream and again went awayi went through this 3 times.last night I started iching and it felt like I had been bitten by a bug.i pulled my top up and where the rash had kept forming I had big red bumps and they were itching bad.i used some benadril on them and by morning they were gone.now again tonight the same thing is happening.this hasn t spread to any other areas.i haven t changed detergents or anything like that.im wondering what it may be and if I should be worrying.it has had me scared because I have never formed any type of rash in my life.i would have went to the doctors right away even if it were to find out it was nothing but don t have insurance.do you have any clue what this could be? im praying the answer will ease the terror I feel. thank you very much!! Hello,

I have gone though your complete query with diligence and after reading it the most probable diagnosis is simple urticaria or commonly known as hives.

Let me reassure you first that it is simple entity and there is nothing to get terrified due to this problem.

This is formed due to bursting of specific white blood cells known as basophils and mast cells. It remains for few hours to up to one day and then subsides by its own.

In my patients with your kind of problem I generally prefer to give an antihistamine tablet such as loratadine or levocetrizine for one to two times a day.

It can be take for few weeks to up to few months period under medical supervision.

All the best.
