Morbus Raynaud is a disease that affects peripheral arteries on arms, forearm, hands and fingers. The causes of this disease are still unknown. It is manifested with numbness and pain on upper extremities, and with a change of hand color from pale to purple.
There are some factors that favor this disease such as: 1- Cold temperatures. 2- Panic attack. The patient suffer from Asperger's syndrome, and this syndrome causes pain attack. So, it is this syndrome that deteriorates Raynaud.
The patient needs a parallel treatment for Raynaud's phenomen and Asperger's syndrome, in the same time.
He should visit a rheumatologist and a psychiatrist. They both will help in determining the exact treatment.
