Hello,

Frequent diarrhea along with cramps, blood in stool and so on should be well investigated to get a proper diagnosis. I would hence advise you the following:
-Get a clinical evaluation by your doctor and get a referral to a gastroenterologist if required.
-Get the stool tested for three consecutive days.
-Tests of blood particularly for thyroid and liver functions, CBC and as required.
-Ultrasonography of abdomen.
-A course of an antibiotic, metronidazole, and probiotics may help to cure the problems.
-If not go for a CT scan of the abdomen and Colonoscopy with biopsy to get a correct diagnosis.
-If a particular diagnosis is made you will get a specific treatment. If all the investigations are normal then this may be an IBS that is irritable bowel syndrome and thus get treated. Control of stress and anxiety helps. Identify the foods and beverages that instigate or enhance the problems and stop these altogether.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. T Chandrakant
