What Causes Red Blotchy Rash Around Mouth?

Hi There, my 16month old son sems to be getting a small red blotchy rash round his mouth and red around his eyes, the balls are normal, when he eats peanut butter and strawberry jelly on toast. he was always fine with peanut butter so do you think this could be a strawberry allergy? is grandmother is allergic to strawberries?

Hello.

I went through your son's history and would like to make suggestions for him as follows:

1. If he is otherwise not reacting to peanut butter, I would think of reaction to strawberry or coloring agents/preservatives used in them.

2. For treatment, I would suggest him an antihistamine such as cetirizine or levocetirizine and application of a lotion such as calamine.
