What Causes Redness In Nostrils And Puss Globules After A Septoplasty?

hi, i had a septoplasty 4weeks ago and i was recovering quickly and well. however, last week, when i was cleaning my nose with the saline solution, there was blood. Today, i looked up my nose using a torch and my nostrils are red with rawness and there s puss globules everywhere- should i go to my doctor?

Hello

Yes , you should go to your doctor as it looks like you have developed an infection and will need antibiotics for it. For the time being you can apply mupirocin ointment over the pus globules , but please meet your doctor soon.
