What Causes Sand In The Bowels Having A History Of IBS?
i have IBS and had a hard fall a few weeks ago. hit the tile pretty hard and have had extreme back pain. recently i've noticed sand in the toilet after a bile movement. i've had back surgery on my back over 10 years ago. i had a colonoscopy less than 5 years ago. what could be causing my problem?

I really appreciate your concern, IBS is kind of functional disease if you had injury due to fall then it may not cause any thing sand like in stool it is totally irrelevant and no need to worry about this but if need to clear the doubt then you can get done the stool lab examination other pass history of surgery also nothing to take with stool contamination or sand like stool, the consistency of stool is depends upon the diet taken hope this information helps.
