i had severe flank pain and the doctor sent me for an ultrasound. they didnt find a kidney stone; however, i was prescribed pain meds and antibiotics for a possible uti and later that evening. the pain got so severe it went to my anal area and which time i got very sweaty and passed out only to wake up on the bathroom floor. what could this be?
Sometimes kidney stone can not be seen in ultrasound, also it you can have more sandy than stone and that can cause pain when it goes through your urethra and it reflexes to your anus. Other possibility is diverticular disease and diverticulosis. You should consult with your doctor about this situation.
