Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi... Greetings from Chennai. I am a consultant Pediatrician in Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital, Nungambakkam, Chennai.

It is very uncommon for a 9 year old kid to be requiring an tonsillectomy and surgery to drain the sinuses.

Now a days these are being treated simply by intranasal steroid and the results are fantastic.

Regards - Dr. Sumanth
