What Causes Stiffness And Pain In The Arms After An Exercise?

Hello, Yesterday I was working out my biceps on a machine. I felt sore but fine afterwards and the rest of the day I felt fine. However, This morning, I woke up and on the inside of my arm my forearm and bicep caused a fair amount of pain and I cannot fully extend my arm. It s been like this all day and I have tried icing it. Is this something I should see a doctor for or give it more time at home? Thanks!

hello there..thank you for query..
Pain in muscle after exercise is mainly due to Lactic acid accumulation which get resolved after some days. Also there are chance of muscle strain if you have lifted heavy weight.
if the pain is not relieving by 2- 3 days and if you feel that it is not lactic acid pain then you should definitely see a doctor.you can also take NSAIDS like aceclofenec or diclofenec..
thank you
