When I wake up in the moring or have been sitting for half an hour or more my lower legs are really stiff and I can hardly walk on them, I look like a 90 year old! This does gradually go but if I go back to sitting it starts up again and its very painful

Hi,
It seems that you might be having degenerative changes in your bones and muscles giving this problem.
There might be having osteoporosis and osteomalcia.
Take calcium, vitamin A and D supplements.
Keep habit of slow walking and some physical activity to keep your musculus-skelaton system active.
Ok and take care.
