What Causes String Mucus-wrapped Stools After Gall Bladder Surgery?

I recently underwent gallbladder surgery (one week ago). I now am experiencing stringy, mucus-wrapped stools. No pain. No loose stools. No constipation. This morning, there was literally a 10 to 12 inch string of nothing but mucus. It really scared me. I have never had this happen before.
