What Causes Swelling In Feet And Stiffness In Ankles After The Epidurals?
Hello Sir.. I had 2 epidurals Jan 18 ....feb 21st...for sciatic nerve pain....3 weeks after epidurals ...which did nothing to alleviate the pain.. my feet swelled up and ankles are unbendable at times.Am taking a water pill now. I went for heart test ..artery test all excellent. I then found a doctor who gave me 4 epidurals. A wonderful Dr I might add, ... 1 a week apart, over a months time.... The screaming horrid dibilitating sciatic pain is gone... I am blessed.....My feet and ankles on the other hand are still swollen and stiff all kinds of numbing pains and tingles shooting pains and numbness are still there. Do you think it will go away?

Yes, its good you are relieved of pain. The swelling will gradually go with gentle physiotherapy and gradual resumption of work.
