What Causes Tingling/numbness In Fingers/toes While Having Carpal Tunnel In Hands?

numbness and tingling in fingers and toes on both sides.
I had a nerve conduction study and have carpel tunnel in both hands but no diagnosis for the toes.
I have tried the splints on my hands but there has been no imrovement.
It seems to me the problem with ther toes and fingers may be connected.
