Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

I am sorry to hear about your medical condition. This is a serious medical condition that can be caused by different causes:

- viral infection
- demyelination
- an autoimmune reaction to an external agent, etc..

So, further tests are needed to investigate for this reason, including lumbar puncture and different blood lab tests.

High doses of steroids coupled with long time of physiotherapy may be helpful.

Kind regards, Dr. Aida
