What Causes Urinary Bladder Cyst Along With High BP?

I'm a 28 year old female who only weighs about 115 lbs but I do have high blood pressure. It's genetic. I found out yesterday that I have a cyst on my bladder and Im being sent to a Urologist. Its very close to the Urethra and my doctor wants it removed. Could this be related to my blood pressure? Is this something thats dangerous to me? Can they remove it in his office or will surgery have to be done

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It can be related to your high blood pressure, but that depends on the exact location of the cyst. If it is to be removed, it will have to be in an operating room.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
