What Causes Vaginal Soreness After Exposure To Hot Weather?
A couple days ago I was walking around alot and it was hot outside, so I was sweaty. I noticed that after a while my vaginal area started to get quite sore, however, I did keep getting wedgies that I obviously couldn't get rid of in public and no way to privately remove them. When I got home that night, my vaginal area was extremely sore and red. Would this be from possible chafing or a yeast infection or something? How do I cure this? It's mighty uncomfortable.
Hi, The symptoms you have had are likely due to dehydration along with pressure of the undergarments on the soft parts. As the body dehydrates, so are the secretions everywhere and the vaginal secretions are no exception. This can cause dryness and along with pressure due to the tight undergarments, soreness and redness could have developed. It is not necessarily due to some infection. Please rest the part, cool it with ventilation and cold compresses, re-hydrate the body adequately, avoid tight undergarments for a while and if there is no relief, see a specialist for further help. Take care.
