What Causes Vocal Nodules With Acid Reflux And Contact Ulcers?

I have Vocal nodules with acid refux and contact ulcers. The hoarsness in my throat comes and goes. Sometime I think it is stress related. My Dr. suggests surgery but says it is not a definite cure for the horseness. What can you tell me about this condition

hello, thanks for your query, it's common in teachers , politicians,where voice abuse more. initially u can try with absolute voice rest, steam inhalation, speech therapy. in long standing hoarseness micro laryngeal surgery can be tried. all d best. take care.
