What Causes Vomiting, Pins And Needles In Head And Dizziness?

Had a stomach bug, vomiting for 9 hours, during shower experienced "heavy feeling" in head, with a "pins and needles" sensation in head also, buzzing in ears with sounds seeming distant, and extreme sensation of nausea with no vomiting. Lasted about 3 minutes and was ok after laying flat on back.

Hi
The feeling you are having is called tinnitus. The sound can also manifest as incessant roaring, hissing, buzzing or clicking. The sound can be loud or soft, low or high pitched. Tinnitus can occur in one ear, or both the ears.
So most likely in your case two conditions are overlapping with each other tinnitus with gastroenteritis.Gastroenteritis is a condition in which due to either viral, bacterial or protozoal invasion intestinal mucosa is inflamed causing symptoms like Nausea, Vomiting, loose stools, abdominal cramps etc.

Test adviced MRI brain to rule out central nervous system as a cause of tinnitus,Apart from that ulta sound abdomen and stool test should be done to rule out the cause of gastric infection.

For tinnitus consult a neorologist and ENT specialist.
