What Causes Vomiting,diarrhea And Restlessness After Abdominal Surgery?

My grandmother (69 years old, 5'7", and 210 lbs) has recently had to be intubated after suffering a combination of symptoms, including vomiting, diarrhea, restlessness, fever, v-tach, and slightly confused. She has had exploratory abdominal surgery that turned up nothing. What could this be?

I really appreciate your concern, the give symptoms could be due to infection and it could be bacterial infection, if this the infection then it may not be detected in exploration of abdomen, but blood test and stool test can give some clues or even confirm the condition, mix type of infection may be likely some time it may the causative organism are resistance to given antibiotic, and to rule this out culture sensitivity test is must, hope this information helps.
