What Causes Watery Stools When Suffering With Malaria?
Sir, i recovered from malaria disease l5 days back, but my problem is i am suffering from frequent motions since 15 days, daily twice or thrice. the stool is not at all watery i.e it is not loose motion but it is free motion.when i had given stool test at laboratory, report came negative, pathologist said that it is due to antibiotics that i have used for malaria. but now i am not using any tablets, he also suggested me to take b complex tablets. pls suggest me in this regard.
Well come to HCM Thank for asking and appreciate your concern, symptoms of diarrhea is common in malaria and that does not needs any treatment and neither it is to be worried, although passing of stool three to four times in day is normal one if not associated with fever, abdomen pain, nausea vomiting. I would advise you to just be patience no need to take any treatment, the thing is happening due to malarial induce gastritis and it is the self limiting condition, at the most probiotic like lactobacillus can be tried. hope this information helps.
