What Causes White Layers In The Stool In Infants?

My 15 month old daughter stools are brown inside with a whitish layer outide. I removed all milk products a week ago because I suspect she's allergic to casein. Since then, she stopped having very loose stools, but now I'm concerned about this white layer around her stools.

Have a stool test for reducing sugars. Follow up with me with report. Omit milk from diet for the time being.
