Hi.

Some hormonal changes may cause weight gain but copper T is free from hormones. There is no direct link between copper T insertion and Wt. gain.

Weight gain could be due to metabolic changes, lifestyle and food mismanagement and positive caloric intake as also lesser physical workout.

If I were your attending physician I would advise you to reverse the above by food management, lifestyle changes and required physical workout. As far as metabolic correction is required, some help of Ayurveda's safe herbal combos should be taken as support. It will defined itely bring your Wt. within BMI standards.

Hope this is enough for you to decide and seek the opinion of Ayurveda Doctor to manage weight.

May I be of more help please.
