What Could Be The Reason For Frequent Tingling Sensation Under The Ribs?

I was just wondering why I'm having a tingling sensation under my ribs on the left side. It's in the front and back. It feels almost like a mild electric current that is contracting my muscles. It's happening multiple times a day. It doesn't hurt, but it's strange, and started only a few days ago. It's becoming more frequent, and it's just uncomfortable. It's like the muscles or whatever are contracting tighter and tighter and I just have to wait for it to pass.

Hi
It can be a neuritis or pleural inflammation.About pleura you should rule out that by a chest x ray.If it is neuritis a neuroprotective medications can give you improvement.Preparation which contain methylcobalamin alphalipoic acid and pyridoxine that i usually give for my patients. You might need an antiinflmmatory drug like ketoprofen also.Methylcobalamin injections also given in some cases.Better have a consultation with a physician to rule out your problem.Hope this may help you
thanks
