What Could Be The Reason For Having A Rash That Is Dry, Painful And Mostly Under The Skin?
The rash is dry, painful, mostly under the skin. Skin fills stretched. From head to ankles - Came on full steam after abath last night. By mistake for 3 days 8 used what 8 thought was a lotion and it was a body wash. Could this be the cause? In years past I had skin break out determined as candida. Any recommendations?
Hi there.
I read your very detailed description with interest & empathise with your predicament.
It does appear like an irritant contact dermatitis most likely caused by the body wash & the dry skin will surely be a factor that has aggravated this.
Was the bath water hot as well as this could have further aggravated as also the presence of chlorine/hard water.
Candida does not present in this fashion usually.
I would recommend using a moisturising lotion like cetaphil moisturising lotion that is an international brand & if applied atop wet skin, would be best & should sort your problems out in a couple of days.
Good Luck & wish you a clear skin soon.
