What Could Be The Reason For Having Nausea, Diarrhea, Stomach Pain And Painful Urination?
Hi, I was diagnosed with salmonella three weeks ago. Doctors thought it was a uti but I am experiencing very odd symptoms . Extreme nausea, extreme stomach (lower) pains, headaches, diarrhea, painful urination and the weirdest part... Bloody solid particles in my urination ranging in size. I have no idea what these are and it looks like some sort of weird growth off of a chunk of blood... Any idea what this could be?
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. It appears to be RBC casts secondary to hematuria with possible cause in kidney. 2. Get a Widal test for evaluation of salmonella typhi. If necessary, a stool culture can be more helpful. 3. You could be suffering from systemic infection. Get a urine culture and sensitivity to start appropriate treatment for urinary tract infection. Meet your doctor to get the tests done and for start of appropriate treatment. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
