What Could Be The Reason For Having Numbness And Sharp Pain In My Left Thumb?

Yesterday, when I opened the fridge door, suddently the first section of left thumb experienced a sharp pain. It was so hurting, I held my finger and had a careful look. I could not see anything wrong but started feeling numbness of the area as well. Last night, after the shower, I noticed a small bruise appeared in that small area. What should I do? What cause it?

This could be due to the trauma which must have happened without notice, you must not be knowing about this, right now just do nothing wait for some time this will get alright, if it does not then you have to start the analgesic tab. and the best drug would be "Diclofenac" 50 mg once in day this will come around take care and have good day
