What Could Be The Reason For Having Vomiting And Diarrhea?

I have been having vomiting and diarreah episodes , too much as far as I am concerned. I have not eaten or have not drank anything out of the ordinary; Most of the time it happens in the middle of the night. This week it happened in the night and day time. What can this possibly be? I am 55 , if that helps you,

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, it seems that you might be having gastritis.

Following precautions will be helpful :-
1.Avoid spicy and oily foods.
2.Avoid being empty stomach for long periods.
3.Avoid smoking and alcohol, if any.
4.Drink lots of water daily.
5.Eat food prepared under hygienic conditions.
6.Avoid excessive gas producing foods like peas, cabbage, legumes, etc.

You can take an antacid like Omeprazole 40mg once a day before meals along with Domperidone 30mg.
