What Could Be The Reason For Presence Of Blood In The Urine?

2 days ago i noticed my urine is red. i'm assuming its blood, i have no pain. I'm able to pee without pain. although i do have a back ache, which i thought was from shoveling snow. Tomorrow i'm making a doctor appt to see if they can check my urine.
Thankyou!

Urologist 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for your query,,Blood in urine associated with back ache is most likely to be due to presence of stone either in Kidney or Ureter.

However this can be confirmed only on Ultrasound Scanning of the abdomen.

Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine Routine and culture
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen.
