What Could Be The Reason For Swollen Retina, Headache And Loss Of Vision In One Eye For Short Time?

My granddaughter is 21. She had a bad headache last Saturday and progressively lost her eye sight in one eye. We took her to the eye foundation in Birmingham, AL. They could find nothing wrong. My daughter took her to her eye doctor and found her retina swollen. All the test and still no answer. She was suppose to see a neuro eye Dr. Friday. Okay, she sneezed about 30 minutes ago and her eye sight is coming back. Where should we take her? To an ENT or a neuro Eye Dr.?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
Loss of vision for short time with headache and retinal edema is seen in transient ischaemic attack.
This requires further examination by a neurophthalmologist or neurologist to find out the underlying cause and treatment accordingly.
Hence I advice to consult neurophthalmologist or neurologist for further examination.

Thank you
