What Could Be The Red Dry Rashes Under Armpit, behind Knees And Neck?

Hi, My son developed a rash under his armpits a few days ago. It is now behind his knees and small less severe patches around his neck. It is red and kind of dry looking. I haven t made any changes that I can think of to cause this. Do you have any ideas? Thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms of your son seem to be related to eczema. I recommend to use Aloe Vera gel for local application. I also recommend to use Hydrocortisone cream to relieve the irritation. I recommend to use Cetirizine 10 mg to relieve the itching.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
