What Could Bladder Fullness And Pressure Indicate, After A Catheter Insertion For Vaginal Hysterectomy And TVT Sling Surgery?

I had a vaginal hysterectomy and a TVT sling surgery on Monday. I had a catheter in till Tuesday morning. I feel pressure when standing , like I have a full bladder even after going to the bathroom.I feel I have been passing the proper amount of urine. Is this normal or do you think I may have a urinary infection?

Urologist 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have undergone Hysterectomy and TVT surgery very recently and has problem of passing urine.

This is known complication of TVT surgery and it takes 2-3 weeks to get it resolved.

Please do not worry this will get cured of its own without medication and does not need any active intervention.
